How does the Hispasat team differences modal work?

Contents

    What does this function do

This notice helps detect when equipment registered in a connection does not match the data reported by Hispasat. If the system finds a difference and there are also compatible equipment available for replacement, it displays a window with the details for the operator to decide if they want to update the connection.

    Where does it appear

Appears within the Hispasat connection's technical sheet, in the connection's technical editing section, and in the ticket (Work Order) where the connection is related. It is displayed automatically when opening this screen when the system detects discrepancies between the connection's equipment and the equipment reported by Hispasat.

    When is it displayed

The window appears only if these conditions are met:

The connection has a Hispasat terminal associated with it.

Hispasat reports a different serial number for the outdoor unit (ODU), for the indoor unit (IDU), or for both.

There is at least one compatible team available to make the switch.

If there are no differences or no stock available to replace the equipment, the window is not displayed.

    What information does it show?

The window compares the current connection data with the new data reported by Hispasat.

    Can show:

Current and new ODU serial number.

Current and new IDU serial number.

This way, the operator can quickly review which equipment would change before confirming the action.

    Step by step

    1. Access the Hispasat connection from the connections module.

    2. Open the technical view of the connection.

    3. If the system finds differences and compatible stock is available, the window will open automatically.

Review the data displayed on the screen.

    5. Press Change equipment to accept the replacement, or Reject To close the window without applying changes.

    What happens when you confirm

If the change is confirmed, the connection is updated with the new equipment that matches Hispasat. Additionally, the system registers the replacement and makes the previous equipment available according to the internal stock circuit. After that, the connection is pending new technical configuration.

    Example of use

A technician opens a Hispasat connection, and the system detects that the ODU serial number loaded in the connection does not match the one listed in Hispasat. If a correct and available piece of equipment is in stock, a window opens displaying the current number and the new one. From there, the replacement can be confirmed to align the connection with the Hispasat information.
